FEMA/DHS Classes?
Echo Hose Ambulance partners with a number of local, State, and Federal partners, as well as Universities across the country to offer Free Department of Homeland Security and FEMA courses.
The class offerings support the development and delivery of training that furthers national preparedness by addressing national preparedness gaps, correlating training needs with exercise activities and outcomes, incorporating the core capabilities identified in the National Preparedness Goal.
Classes are coordinated and take place at the Echo Hose Ambulance Training Center. These classes are taught by a number of Universities including Louisiana State University, Texas A & M Engineering, University of Hawaii, and New Mexico Tech.
Classes are held throughout the year and free for all attendees. Some examples of class offerings are ICS 300/400, Incident Response to Terrorist Bombings, Critical Decision Making for Complex Coordinated Attacks & Hurricane Awareness programs.
